Dr. Patel graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.  He then completed medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine earning his MD.  Dr. Patel then finished his training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.  Finally, he completed his training in Interventional Cardiology at Harvard Medical School where he learned all the cutting edge techniques to fix diseased blockages in arteries.

 

Dr. Patel has been in practice for 20 years initially practicing Interventional and General Cardiology for the first half of his career.  In 2010, Dr. Patel decided to open his own office where he could focus on treating patients more broadly to provide more all-inclusive care.  His focus in forming Patel Medical Clinic was to be able to provided both Internal Medicine care and Cardiology care in one clinic in order to practice more comprehensive care to manage his patients more completely.  Medicine has become more fragmented with patients often having multiple physicians which often leads to less than optimal care.  By treating the whole patient, Dr. Patel strives to provide the highest level of care to his patients with the convenience of seeing less doctors.  By focusing on out-patient care, he is able to be in the office 100% of his time, so you can always count on seeing Dr. Patel for all of your needs - without the use of physician assistants or nurse practitioners.
